My husband is a two time war veteran. We are currently living abroad but maintained our Cali and Miami address. We have ordered this speaker 3 times and they keep canceling our order for who knows what reason. They have no customer service number & takes them forever to answer your email. When they do finally answer all they do is shift the blame as to why they keep canceling our order! . Makes no sense. Absolutely horrible experience. Not worth it!

I don’t understand why it seems like the rights holders are so insistent on making money off this, you go to their website and they’re talking about a new for purchase release. It’s 50 years old, just put it on RUclips for free and let people enjoy it. I have yet to see this film and like others who have read lord of the fly I’m sure we all want to see it.

They really missed the mark with this. They should have made the straps modular so the vest portion can be just a vest, and vice versa with the pack. For me at least, my vest contents doesnt change, so why would i want to wear what is a back pack on lighter days? The vest wouldve been best to buckle in over the shoulders or something. Being stuck to a full backpack is the only reason i wont buy it. Fishpond and patagonia make great versions but both of their vests are sub par compared to simms. Lames jebron.

First, let me say that I am really enjoying the 5 weight. I was mostly fishing my 3 and 4 weights for trout because my only 5 weight was an old Orvis TLS, which just felt too heavy and stiff and I didnt cast it well. This Sky G has a swing weight and feel of the 3 and 4 weights but more versatile in its fly handling capability. I see they are up to $895 now. I dont quite remember what I paid, but it was quite a bit less than that. I typically snatch up equipment when they are being discontinued, or from smaller online fly shops that might be trying to move stuff. I was in the market for an 8 weight and my thoughts went to the Sky G, but I saw the new Atlas brand and a fraction the price and likely made by the same Korean company. Anxious to try it out and see.
